Artist’s Statement
My Work is unique and involves the fine art of painting on fabric and the art of quilting; I love to portray scenes and people in my life from my memories. I dye my own fabrics to get the background I need utilizing acrylic and or oil based paints. Once the background is complete, I quilt the piece utilizing machine quilting techniques; the final step is to paint directly onto the quilt so that I can create my unique scene or portrait.
